Concrete and Clay at Fosseway

Down at Fosseway our small team of dedicated volunteers have an esablished routine. First,  the sheet steel piling is installed. Then a slab base is prepared for concreteing. A new slab is laid roughly one a week.

Piling at Fosseway

A really productive week at Fosseway, with piling sheets in place up to the end of the fence/start of the wood. The next step is to attach the top rail and retaining tie rods in order to align the tops.

Extending our reach

The weekend of August 29/30 has been busy at Gallows Wharf with DofE volunteers and green and grounds giving the place a good tidy up and finishing fencing. We also took the opportunity, whilst the weather is still in our favour, to remove some more soil.

Carefully Ramping Up

Some kind of normality
