DAVID SUCHET STARS IN ARTHUR MILLER'S "ALL MY SONS"
at the Apollo Theatre, Shaftsbury Avenue, London
also starring Zoe Wanamaker as Kate Keller
with Jemima Rooper (Ann Deever), Stephen Campbell Moore (Chris) and Daniel Lapaine (George Deever)
season extended - now booking to 2 October 2010

All My Sons - the first great success of Arthur Miller's supremely influential career -
is a compelling story of love, guilt and the corrupting power of greed.

Joe Keller (David Suchet) is alleged to have supplied World War II fighter planes with defective engines, leading to the deaths of innocent pilots - a crime for which his business partner took the fall. One of Keller's sons, himself a pilot, is thought to have been killed in action. But his mother (Zoe Wanamaker) can't accept his death and equally, can't accept that her dead son's fiancée has transferred her affections to her other son. The confrontations that ensue lead to the uncovering of a shameful family secret...

MICHAEL FABRICANT MP GETS IWA AWARD

Michael Fabricant was awarded Joint Parliamentarian of the Year 2010 by the Inland Waterways Association at a dinner in the House of Commons on Tuesday 2nd February 2010. Michael is a keen narrowboater, is Patron of the Lichfield & Hatherton Canals Restoration Trust, and has spoken in a number of Parliamentary Debates on matters concerning Britain's inland waterways. Retiring Labour MP, Bob Laxton, Chairman of the Waterways All Party Group, also received the award.

Michael says: "I am honoured and delighted to have been given this prestigious award. Our canals and rivers generate millions of pounds in revenue from tourism and are a natural sanctuary for wildlife. They need to be maintained and cherished. As I told those assembled: I shall plonk the award on the table when I next go narrowboating with a bunch of my rowdy friends. My next trip is round the Cheshire ring."

Guests at the dinner included Members of Parliament of all parties, regional chairmen and officers of the Inland Waterways Association, and the Chairman and Chief Executive of British Waterways.
