Donations to help us in our restoration project are always very welcome, whether they are for a specific appeal (and we have several - see below) or for general purposes. For more details click on the name of the appeal you are interested in, or use the blue arrows at the foot of the page.

In 2009 a new David Suchet Appeal was launched with the aim of raising the first £1million towards opening the Lichfield Canal as far as Darnford. This was inspired by the launch of the Lichfield Canal Feasibility Study completed by engineering consultants Atkins Limited, proposing that the restoration be undertaken in five phases commencing from Huddlesford Junction. Phase 1 focuses on the section up to Darnford Lane and is estimated to cost around £2million. After the success of the previous David Suchet Appeals we are once again hoping that our supporters will be generous.

In 2007 we launched the "500 Club". For just £12 a year members get four chances of winning prizes up to £400 and our Restoration Fund stands to be boosted by up to £3,000 each year. Click here for more details.

The Regular Giving Scheme was launched in November 2003. Supporters can choose whether to make a donation to the Land Fund or the general Restoration Fund.

A donation of £20 to The Brick Appeal pays for a square metre of bricks to help with restoration of locks and other features.

If you are a taxpayer Gift Aid can make your donation worth more. For every £1 you give us we get an extra 28p from the Inland Revenue. Just select "yes" in the Gift Aid column below to allow us to reclaim tax on the amount you have paid. It’s that simple.
