Thanks to all the people who visited our stand in 2007 - in all weathers! The diary for 2008 is filling up already, so we look forward to seeing you all again this year.

Spring Bank Holiday Monday - 26th May 2008 (10.00am - 4.00pm)
Event: LICHFIELD GREENHILL BOWER
Location: Beacon Park, Lichfield

A procession of marching bands and carnival floats makes its way through the city, where the Bower Queen is crowned outside the Guildhall at noon. There is also a fun fair in the city centre, and a fair and jamboree in Beacon Park.

Event: HISTORIC NARROWBOAT RALLY
Location: Braunston Marina (on the A45 just north of Daventry)

Canal trips, Refreshments, Bar & Evening Entertainment. Exhibitors include:-
Canal Restoration Societies, Traditional Rope makers, Traditional Lace Plates, and various other crafts,
Engines, Boating Hats, Clothes, Boat Furniture, and even Traditional Fudge.

Saturday 5th July 2008 (10.00am - 4.00pm)
Event: LICHFIELD MEDIEVAL MARKET
Location: Cathedral Close, Lichfield
Stalls, crafts, food and entertainments.

August Bank Holiday Weekend 23rd - 25th August 2008 (10.00am - 4.00pm)
Event: INLAND WATERWAYS ASSOCIATION NATIONAL WATERWAYS FESTIVAL & BOAT SHOW
Location: Autherley Junction on the Shropshire Union Canal
Pendeford Park,Blaydon Road,Wolverhampton

It is a short walk from Wolverhampton railway station to the Bus Station to catch a service 504/505 that drops near to site.

Saturday 6th September 2008 (10.00am - 4.30pm)
Event: WHITTINGTON COUNTRY FAIR
Location: Bit End Field, Whittington, Near Lichfield
Link: Whittington & Fisherwick Parish
A friendly and increasingly popular village event with an interesting variety of stalls. Featuring heavy horses, falconry, sheep dog demonstrations, ferret racing, dog show and dog obedience, gun dog training, agricultural displays, classic cars, tug of war, fly tying, stick making, steam engine rides, children's fairground attractions, mechanical rodeo bull, animal corner, pony rides, farriery, chain saw sculpture, licensed bar, dozens of trade and craft stalls in marqee and outside.

Saturday 8th November 2008 (7.30pm)
Event: SOCIAL EVENING
Location: Whittington Village Hall, Langton Crescent, Whittington, Nr Lichfield
Make a note of the date. Day-Star Theatre will perform "An Unpleasant Business". Tickets available soon.
Winners of the 2008 Grand Prize Draw will be drawn.
