L & H will be attending the following events and welcome offers of help from members and supporters of the Trust.
We have other opportunities to promote the work of L&HCRT during the year but to do this we do need more volunteers for our Support Team.
If you feel that you can help in any way, even if it is just a couple of hours we would love to hear from you.
No experience necessary - there's always someone there to help with queries from interested members of the public

Saturday 6th - Sunday 7th February 2010 (10.00am - 4.00pm)
Event: THE 20th ANNUAL OWNERSHIPS SHOW
Location: Braunston Marina (on the A45 just north of Daventry)

Canal trips, Refreshments, Bar & Evening Entertainment. Exhibitors include Canal Restoration Societies, Traditional Rope makers, Traditional Lace Plates, and various other crafts, Engines, Boating Hats, Clothes, Boat Furniture, and even Traditional Fudge.

Saturday 6th February 2010 (11.00am - 4.00pm)
Event: WHITTINGTON VILLAGE BIG GREEN FAIR
Location: Whittington Village Hall, Langton Crescent, Whittington, Nr Lichfield

There will be plenty to see and do including visiting over 20 stands to buy local food/goods and find out more about saving energy and the environment.

Event: CANAL FESTIVAL - PELSALL 2010
Location: Pelsall Wood Common, off Wood Lane, Pelsall.

The Birmingham Canal Navigations Society is pleased to announce that its main Summer event next year will be held on the northern section of the Birmingham Canal Navigations. (BCN). The Festival is supported by the Inland Waterways Association, Lichfield and Birmingham Black Country & Worcestershire Branches, Longwood Boat Club and the Lichfield & Hatherton Canals Restoration Trust. Boaters will have the opportunity to join a BCN Explorer Cruise on their way to the Festival.
The Festival will include stalls, entertainment, displays and refreshments for the public as well as being a gathering of boats from all over the country. Entry for the public will be free.
