Quiz Night 2016
March 13th.
Our eagerly-awaited 8th annual Quiz Night at Boley Park Community Hall was a sell-out and saw 110 people make up sixteen imaginatively named teams. Quizmaster Tim Burgin presented a specially compiled general knowledge quiz in a most entertaining and enjoyable manner.
In the interval a Fish ‘n Chip supper (other options were available) from the Alrewas Fryer was followed by a presentation on the new ‘Tunnel Vision’ campaign by Peter Buck.
To be honest it was not just about having a good time but to raise funds for the Trust as well. To this end £490 was raised just from the raffle and by donations into ‘Brindleys top hat’, so the evening was a great success on both counts.
Many thanks to all those who supported and helped to organise this event without which it would not be possible.

There were winners with a very respectable 155 points. -
‘Smells Like’ with their first place prize of £50 which they very kindly returned to the Trust.
And there were losers with a still respectable 96 points. -
‘Bow Thrusters’ received a box of chocolates for last place.
