The LHCRT AGM is normally held in June but was postponed last year until September due to the Covid-19 outbreak and was held as a Zoom meeting. It was again decided to hold the 2021 AGM as a virtual meeting and to revert to June as usual.
Over 70 people connected for the meeting on 4th June 2021. One advantage of the virtual meeting is that we can include people from far and wide. The meeting was adminstered by Luke Walker and chaired by Chris Bull. The whole meeting was recorded and you can view that on YouTube.
Following the formal business a video was shown in honour of our President and founder Eric Wood. Henceforth, Lock 18 will be known as 'Wood Lock 18'. The video also included some memories of others who were there, or almost, at the start, particularly of Lock 18 which was the first major part to be restored. The video ended with a birthday presentation to Eric who will be 90 in a few days time.
